Harold Wadley Interview
We are adding a program to our winter Oral History Series! Join us on December 12th at the Stanley Community Library at 5:30pm to enjoy a conversation with Harold Wadley, recorded in 2011.
Harold Wadley first came to the Stanley in the winter of 1960/61 as the Forest Service Ranger, living at the Valley Creek Ranger Station with his wife Gwen and first one and then two sons. As a veteran of the Korean War, Harold was no stranger to cold winters and life in Stanley was a dream come true. Join us to hear stories from the 7 years he spent serving the community.
