Please don’t cut switchbacks! It causes erosion, destroys vegetation, and ruins the trail. This trail has many switchbacks, please use them!
Most of our trailheads do not have trash facilities. Please be prepared to pack out all of your trash from the trail and trailhead.
Bury human waste 6-8 inches deep. All toilet paper and wipes must be packed out. There is no restroom at the trailhead.

Round trip: 2-5.8 miles
Elevation gain: 300-2000 ft
The Boundary Creek Trail is a steep climb but provides great views looking across at the Sawtooth Range well before you reach the top of the ridge. Hike as far as you want up the trail and take lots of breaks to enjoy the scenery!
This trail can be biked but it is a very steep climb for a quick descent. Bikers must yield to hikers and stock.
