STAY ON THE TRAIL

Please don’t cut switchbacks! It causes erosion, destroys vegetation, and ruins the trail. This trail has many switchbacks, please use them! Bikers must yield to other users.

PACK IT IN; PACK IT OUT

Most of our trailheads do not have trash facilities. Please be prepared to pack out all of your trash from the trail and trailhead.

WAG BAGS

Bury human waste 6-8 inches deep. All toilet paper and wipes must be packed out. There is a restroom at the Williams Creek Trailhead.

Description

The Fisher-Williams loop is a popular mountain bike loop. Ride the loop counterclockwise staring along the highway to Fisher Creek Road. Climb up Fisher Creek Road. The trail will eventually turn into a single-track trail with some fun downhill. There are a few intersections and a couple more uphill climbs. Ride in control! The Fisher and Williams Trail is also popular with hikers and horseback riders. Expect others on the trail. Bikers must yield to hikers and stock.

The Fisher-Wiliams loop passes through a large burned area; expect down trees.

Hikers can hike up the Williams Creek Trail. It is a 7 mile hike to the next intersection.
