during Idaho Gives! This state-wide fundraiser celebrates the work of Idaho nonprofits.
Your donation to SIHA will support:
EDUCATION – RECREATING RESPONSIBLY
HISTORIC PRESERVATION – INTERPRETATION
in the Sawtooth and Salmon River country!
SIHA operates the Stanley Museum and Redfish Visitor Center & Gallery. Our summer crew of 8 staffs these two facilities providing area information to visitors. We also host free educational programs and events throughout the summer including 4 daily, free programs at the Redfish Visitor Center. Our naturalist crew is stationed at busy trailheads each weekend, teaching public land users about Leave-No-Trace practices and special Wilderness regulations. The Stanley Museum is open daily from mid-June through Labor Day and visitors can learn about the history of the Sawtooths and upper Salmon River country. Join us at various events including the Sawtooth Forum & Lecture Series, History Day, and the Sawtooth Salmon Festival! Our goal is to help deepen visitors’ connections to the Sawtooth National Recreation Area by interpreting its natural and cultural history.
