During the quiet season, SIHA partners with the Stanley Community Library to share recordings from our Oral History archive.

The first program in our 2024/2025 Oral History Series will be held at 5:30pm Thursday, October 24 at the Library. The Library has a Zoom link available on their event page for folks who would like to attend the program virtually. Join us to hear about the life of Mattie Hansen, who first came to Stanley in 1930 and ended up teaching many Stanley children (as shown in the photo to the right).
