Sawtooth Photo Contest

Sawtooth Photo Contest

Tanner Haskins, 'June on Heyburn'

Each year the Sawtooth Association holds a photography contest to share the beauty of the Sawtooth and Salmon River country captured by non-professional photographers.

Do you have an amazing photo taken in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area? Enter it in our photo contest by September 1 and be eligible for a prize! Entry is free and the contest is open to all nonprofessional photographers.

There are 3 categories: Scenery, Wildlife, and People in Nature. Individuals may submit up to three photos (see details below). Call the Redfish Visitor Center at 208-774-3376 with any questions. We can’t wait to see your photographs!

Photos submitted to the contest must be taken in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area (SNRA). Photos taken outside of the SNRA will not be considered.

  • Contest open to any non-professional photographer.

  • There are three categories: Sawtooth Scenery, Wildlife, and People in Nature. Individuals may submit up to three photos, one in each category. Members of SIHA may submit two photos in each category. Ask us about membership!
