Please stay on the trail to prevent erosion to the lake shore.
Most of our trailheads do not have trash facilities. Please be prepared to pack out all of your trash from the trail and trailhead.
There is a restroom at the Stanley Lake Trailhead and in the campground.

Elevation gain: 100 ft
Hike along Stanley Lake from the parking area to the campground and back, This trail is approximately 2 miles out and back, Enjoy views of McGowan Peak and the lake. Bald eagles and osprey are often spotted from the lake shore.
From the Stanley Lake Trailhead make sure to stop by the “Bridge to Nowhere” to check out the impact of the 2020 earthquake. Later in the summer or fall when the water level is lower it is possible to walk a short loop of approximately 2 miles.
