June 8 | 9am-12pm
Meet at the Stanley Community Building
to pick up supplies and directions!

Since 2019, the Sawtooth Interpretive & Historical Association’s (SIHA) has held a spring community clean-up in Stanley. In partnership with the Sawtooth Society and local community members, SIHA is again organizing an event to collect roadside trash that has accumulated over the winter and spring seasons along Stanley streets, Highways 21 and 75, and throughout the area.

Volunteers are needed. If you would like to help, trash bags, gloves, and safety vests will be available outside at the Community Building in Stanley from 9am to 12pm on Wednesday, June 8th. RSVP to claim a section of road or let us know you’re coming! RSVP’s are appreciated by June 3rd so we can create our blueprint to cover as much ground as possible. You can join the event for any amount of time you are available, and if you would like to pick up supplies early, or to participate at a time more convenient for you, you can contact Lin at the Stanley Museum to make arrangements: lgray@discoversawtooth.org or 208.774.3517. Rain date, in case these winter storms continues to hold on, is Wednesday, June 15th.
